Ever heard of defeat dance? lol
oorai dance
Plot twist: They still need to dance anyway lol
Sounds good XD
Dancing and singing on the ice without slipping is a skill in itself lol
You see, this is what immediately broke my immersion in the first episode, even more than Japan winning against Canada in an international ice hockey competition.
Someone needs to explain to me how this works!
How are you guys everywhere in just asking
We just watch and comment on a lot of seasonal anime. ^^;
How do you know every part of the anime and its 24 minutes how did you watch it so fast
Gogo is generally pretty late with uploads, so I usually have at least part of an episode watched on a different site by the time an episode shows up here. Also, I don’t always watch the entire episode before commenting. Literally anything interesting that happens can be turned into a comment, so I can comment on the first five minutes, or even the first few seconds depending on how an episode goes.
p.s. I wasn’t even that early to comment today tbh. Wednesdays are usually pretty busy for me.
Can you please tell me the other site .. yeah but in m jobless r.. I've seen you comment when the episode just released 😂 so can you tell me the other anime site please
Try KAA or Anime Pahe. My other sources are Chinese so I doubt they’d be useful to you.
Thanks your an legend ngl
How are you watching the anime so fast the anime just come out
Probs special boots.
Poor ice, though, it's probably so ravaged it needs to be repaired after every dance, lol.
Never Skip Leg Day
Good thing they took care of Yuu's untrusting playstyle before things heated up, it is a good thing Coach Suzuki pointed that out straightaway. I wasn't expecting Coach Suzuki to be so buff after learning Naomi is a big fan of his, but it makes sense he was formerly a hockey player but for some reason I just assumed he'd be more lean lol.
And for Yuu to say she won't do the dance, she had a lot of singing lines in the Victory Dance lol.
So . . . Takahito Suzuki is the model for coach Suzuki? He was the coach of many Japanese National Teams.
However, Also, Tsutomu Kawabuchi was a 'hockey-great' as-in he coached both men and women in the sport of hockey. Google Both.
> So . . . Takahito Suzuki is the model for coach Suzuki? He was the coach of many Japanese National Teams.
Definitely could be.
He even had 18 jersey in the national team.
Also was captaining.
So yea, I could see that being valid.
Especially since even the name is the same (11:25).
Time for more cute girls playing hockey!
We love celebrating after a defeat.
They could've tried the work on the difference between Yuu & the others' levels even before this practice game, but this is more dramatic, I guess.
Puck you coach for making this cringe idol insert,I was liking just the hockey thank you very much
why not both~
I don't think I can handle it 😵
NEW ED looks so awesome singing hockey girls idol loving that ED and also poor Yu got a penalty RIP >_<
Other team: "Nice shoot!" "Nice assist!"
Yu: "...what the hell is an assist?" o_O
"It's tastier eating with friends."
"People do say that, but I doubt the taste actually changes."
-seconds later, different characters-
"It's tastier eating with friends."
"They say that, but there's no proof."
^ SEE! It's not just me! Eating with other people doesn't make a bit of difference to the taste or enjoyment of the dish! Ya'll just a bunch of extroverts addicted to companionship. >:/
yu: i don't feel like dancing
Also yu 1min later: * Singing and dancing * I've always searched, all on my own...
We witnessed a miracle!
A idol dance that was not CG!
Are you sure? Look very closely.
But yeah it is interspersed with 2D and they hide the 3D very well.
Yu and Manaka have great comedic interactions. Come to think of it, the whole team is made up of comedic pairs!
I can see why these dance can be awkward. Lol
Yo this shit fire
I'll never get used to the heavy wears and helmets covering up a smaller being with a cute face inside.
Bruh, that's the best part. It makes it all the better when you DO get to see their faces. So much more dramatic
the dance crap is stupid and needs to go away. zero need for that in a sports anime
Idol is love! Idol is life!
Besides, their dance was done in a way that there's no CG to be found and my god does it look good
Every animu needs idols.
thats just your opinion, and my opinion is i am fine with it.
I'm fine with the dancing. But I just wish they took the entire budget dedicated to it, and put it into more hockey scenes. I just want to see more hockey.
Shush, you
When did they learn the lyrics?
The catchphrase really did wonders for improving Yu's playstyle to be more team-oriented.
On a sidenote, its hilarious to imagine tough ice-hockey players irl doing the victory dance.
Yuu is suddenly nori nori to play with them?
That's quite a fast change.
Dat sync, lol. Yuu is happy.
KOTODAMA!
Hmm, the board is kinda screwed up.
The goal and the goalie space aren't positioned correctly in the middle.
Unless optical mirage.
Awwww, Yoko-san being a proper coach for a change!
JK Obaa-chans :DDDD Okay I've seen everything in animu :D
So Mami is in A Team so they will meet when representing Japan most likely.
Now they look like a proper team with all the other members.
Yuu is really strong but I expected that kind of outburst :/
She needs to learn more team play. Even McDavid can't win alone.
Good thing she realized it in just one period.
AIDORU ENDING HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Let's face it, it's a fantastic PR, everyone would go to those matches if they ended with super cute girls dancing on the rink.
I'm imagining one of the girls dancing with a black eye and missing tooth after fighting during the match.
Imagine if all idol dancing was free from CGI...
This is tuff.
The creators must've wanted to reach as wide an audience as possible. Sports, slice-of-life, and idol is probably the most popular anime genres at the moment. While they're certainly taking all three genres seriously and doing a pretty good job balancing everything, the concept might work better if the idol part was restricted to the opening and ending themes because it's really hard to believe these girls had the time to learn choreography and lyrics while training for hockey as hard as they are doing.
And then the girls purposely lose all subsequent matches because they don't want to do the victory dance...
